Dont' forget to email me!!!

As I mentioned before, you can send emails via the race website http://www.darbaroud.com/index_uk.php, (Ineke Kuiper, race number 835). Race kicks off on Sunday 29th March.

I'm saving you a piece of my birthday cake today so when you get to about day 6 and feel like something sweet and need a little energy, just pretend you've had a nice big slice of cheesecake- the baked, classic kind, not the one we had for DD's birthday which was yukky. Some race advice- try to avoid the sand- it's a trap. Condo

  11. I saw that it was raining there and wondered how much.....obviously a lot!! A wet sahara.....how rare is that! It should clear before long although it's forcast to be cool.

    So glad to see you finished your first challenge!I can imagine the smile you had on your face coming down the dunes. Glad to hear you have not bit the dust yet!! Your poor little hoofs must be getting tired, 33 klms!!?? I think a deluxe pedicure will be in store when you get home!!
